THE BLACK DIAMOND

Black diamonds feature an extremely high amount of graphite inclusions that make them look black in color. While other kind of diamonds are usually extracted from explosive volcanic rock, the black diamond comes from alluvial deposits in Brazil and the Central African Republic. In 2006, some astrophysical researchers theorized that the black diamond originated in the outer space and then fell back into the earth's atmosphere.
